ACU National is The Australian Catholic University, a public university funded by the Australian Government and open to students and staff of all beliefs.
The campus, which is set in beautiful gardens, is near the commercial centre of Ballarat and within easy reach of facilities. The delightful old buildings and majestic trees on campus reflect the history of the town and provide a tranquil setting for learning. The small campus is a cheerful place for students to meet, study and socialise.
ACU National consistently scores a five-star rating for Indigenous Participation and for the high standard of qualifications of our academic staff.
Ballarat offers Camillus Residence, a modern complex of four-, five-
and seven-bedroom self-contained houses (79 places), where residents
live and prepare their own meals.

ACU Ballarat is great.
Choosing a regional campus is a great experience. Not only is it away from the hussle and bussle of the big city life it allows for a more personalised and better quality education. Lectures and tutors know their students on a personal level, and you are treated as a person, not just a number. The fascilities are developing, over the past few years i have seen a number of dramatic changes. From the gardens and lawns being restablished and maintained to more computer fascilities, and renovations of the library. Campus social life is a great part of any university, ACU Ballarat is no different. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Most Wednesday nights there is some type of function on. On Tuesday night there is a uni sport night where teams alternate sports (ie. soccer, netball and volleyball) on a weekly basis. This is a great opportunity for friendly rivalries to develop and more socialising across other year levels. I would give ACU Ballarat an overall rating of 7.5-8 / 10.

It is really a great school to attend. There are tons of wonderful and friendly people. I found classes to be really fair for the the most part and teach alot of good and useful information. The sports are amazing. I absolutely love it hear and would deffinately do it all over again.
