Ever since, Switzerland has become famous for hospitality education. The first major hotel school in the world was opened in Lausanne in the early 1900s. Since then Switzerland has had a high reputation for hotel and tourism education and training and there is a large demand from international students. We at studdex also experience the same demand from students asking us about an education in the hospitality industry. Now we are very happy to be able to fulfill this need to our students.
HTMi Hotel and Tourism Management Institute prepares students for a management career in the global hospitality industry. The institute has five centers for excellence, they are: The School of International Hotel and Tourism Management, The International Hospitality Research Centre, The International Centre for Events Management Training, The Centre for Career Management and The Centre for Culinary Management.
HTMi´s teaching faculty are all highly qualified and are fully dedicated to our mission of preparing all students for management positions in the hotel and tourism industry, ranging from trainee managers, to middle managers to senior managers.

studdex - the student service for study abroad - is announcing a new program, the studdex student ambassador program (SSAP).

SSAP is an umbrella program that oversees all of the different kinds of volunteer activities that students get involved with to build our community and help in recruitment of students. It aims to recognize students for their participation, initiative and leadership by paying incentives.

The Zhejiang University of Technology is located in the city of Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. It is considered one of the top industrial universities in mainland China and the second largest university in Zhejiang Province after the most comprehensive university. Today we would like to introduce our 11^th Chinese partner. The Liaoning Medical University (LMU), founded in 1946, is located in the city of Jinzhou in LiaoningProvince, five hours east of Beijing. During its development over the past 61years, the university has become a leading provincial university with its main educational focus being on the medical sciences.

The campus covers an area of 975,000 square meters with a floor-space of 279,000square meters. There are well-equipped sport grounds, a gymnasium and a state of the art library. Six levels of education are offered at LMU: - general higher education, state-owned privately run education, adult education, vocational education, online education and international student education. The university accepts undergraduate, graduate, masters and postgraduate students.

The number of student studying at the university totals 13,806 with approximately 140 being international students, all of whom are currently studying in the undergraduate program which is taught in the English language.
