Canada, it is very hard for anyone to dislike this country. It is the second largest country with a variety of terrain and landscapes. It is a continent by itself for the variety even in the flora and fauna. Located in the North American continent to the north of United States and to east of Alaska. It is a highly developed country with high income per capita and is also part of G8. The country has 2 official language English and French. Almost 85 percent of all the French speakers live in the province of Quebec.
Canada has very much a British standard of education. The country has a very good standard of education majorly governed by the local government and provincial government. The Ministry of education governs the educational institutions in each state and is independent of other states.
The country has very high immigration rate and has been home to people from more than 100 countries. The first migration was observed way back in early 19th century when the British and Irish people migrated to Canada. Around 250,000 people migrated to Canada in the year 2008. The majority of the Canada’s population growth is mainly due to the immigrants. The Internationally acclaimed Canadian education attracts a lot of international students.
As the country is located in the Artic region it experiences severe cold during most time of the year. These countries in the North American continent have been severely affected by the climate change and life cycle has been affected to an extent. The average summer temperature is around 20 degree Celsius and it goes down up to -40 degree Celsius in some parts of the country.
The country is rated as one of the most livable countries and home of two most livable cities Toronto and Montreal. The quality of live is very high and the costs of living are considerably cheaper than other developed economies. The living costs of the most expensive cities are placed over 40 places in the world. Except for the ownership of property everything else is very cheap. A student can expect to spend around 700 to 1000 USD if living in the university campus.
There are numerous things to see in Canada and it is such a big country which will never bore you out. The Niagara Falls in the border of US, the snow clad mountains in the eastern part, exotic wild life sanctuaries, fast metros like Toronto and Vancouver, Queen Charlotte Islands are few places Canada distinctly stand out in a foreigners view.
