General Overview of Music


Music studies as widely called has a nomenclature name as musicology. The study is a scholarly way of learning music. Music studies were established centuries back but not as a formal way of education. In a broad meaning it deals with study of music of all relevant disciplines and all manifestations of music in all cultures around the world. At the undergraduate level history of music, music infusions, music culture and performance music are thought. Prerequisite for music studies is true inclination and interest toward music and ability to perform few musical instruments.

Specialization of studies and mode of education in Music


Music studies are not broad as other field of studies except for the study of musical instruments which are very broad and vast.
